Title: Snowflake WIP
Post by: Asianfire on December 26, 2014, 02:31:09 AM
Still a miserable day, but at least no rain, so got a start on the snowflake.
As always, just in the last moment, one tip had to break out, so needs a re-think of how to construct the design from here. Right now, I'm thinking of lowering all affected pedals to the level of the broken one.

That should be a nice piece when it's finished; and a lot of intricate carving!! What is the material?

Is that an opaque quartz or some such material? should be interesting when you finish it. :notworthy:

Thank you. Its raw coral from the borderline between Georgia and Florida. James is not sure which side he found it on. Gotta work today, so will cut into this and another Montana, tomorrow.
