Made another trip to Gabbs for multi colored jasper. I am trying to get as much as I can before the Navy closes the area down. They are stealing more land from us to in large the bombing range.
I didn’t bring my portable Crain. I didn’t think I would get any pieces that were too large to lift. Well I did. I had to back the truck into a bank, build a ramp and roll 4 pieces up into the truck.

Where in Nevada are you located? I have family all over Nevada including Gabbs. I am heading up North soon and was thinking I have a couple of large stones that would make nice spheres but way too large to ship. If I am heading your way I can bring them with me.

Gardnerville

The four that was too big for me to lift. I will have to have help to lift them into the saw, if they will fit.

First cut for a sphere

Looks great! You may be trapping some cool cabs in that one.

Gardnerville
Have not gone through Garnderville in ages. I do come through Carson City though occasionally on my way to Reno. Probably be up that way next month.

Nice! The Navy just designated whole old neighborhoods on my island crash zones and we don't know what that will mean for selling our homes when the time comes.

Pm me when you are coming this direction. Carson is only a 30 minute drive. I could maybe [ You are not allowed to view attachments ] meet you there.
Depends on what I am doing at the time

If it’s not closed down I am going to try and make a trip in the spring. If you want you can tag along and I can show you where it is. It takes a little hard digging.
