Title: Nevada moss agate
Post by: Jhon P on November 25, 2019, 02:24:41 PM
Made a trip out for moss agate. Missed the turn so we decided to walk to the top of a hill and get our bearings. My friend Chris walked up and some ticks that turned out to be moss agate. A lot of green
Some lighter greens and some with blue. It has never been dug before. Most of it we picked off of the surface. We did locate a vein. But it was not very thick. It has to open up or there is another vein because some of the pieces we found were pretty big.

Holy schmoley!  That's a lot of moss agate.  Sometimes it pays to miss your turn.   :icon_sunny:

Wow, a very impressive haul.  Send picks of some of it slabbed!
