Hard to tell from the photo. Try backing up the camera to get a clear picture. I would say it is either a gem stone, or glass. You can tell the difference by how fast it absorbs heat. If it feels cold to the touch, it's probably some type of gem stone. You will probably need a clear picture to get a positive identification.

Still sort of hard to tell, the reddish orange color with black spot looks like one of the smokey colored Montana Dendtric Agates would be my best guess.

Try putting it on a neutral background.  Grey is generally best but not always.  The phone sensor is not accurate enough to judge focus and light of just the subject so you need the background to be a brightness shade that matches the subject.
