Title: Bead Loom
Post by: Enchantra on August 10, 2014, 10:31:38 AM
I mentioned my bead loom in another posting.

I wanted one 12 inches by 8 inches.
I think dimensions got lost in translation when my Father-in-law put them into Metric.  I ended up with a loom probably 18 inches by 12 inches.  I've never measured it to get the exact size but I think that's a close approximation.  He used good solid wood.  Treated the wood with a wax and linseed oil combination for a finish.

These pictures are ones my Father-in-law took of it on their diningroom table before giving it to me.

What a thoughtful gesture. I like the looks of that one.

What I like about it Frank is that when I use it, I'm not hunched over like I would be with a loom flat on the workbench.  It certainly saves wear and tear on my upper back and neck.
