Title: 'Hidden bindings'
Post by: southerly on April 22, 2020, 03:18:01 AM
Another iso project was to finish up a off cut of sodalite I polished up and use a snood to create a 'hidden binding'. I quile like these they are fun to do, and a change from looping the cord through a hole.

plus two I did a while ago, the one on the left was sold to me as Western Australian Nephrite Jade, it is too soft, has a greenish 'milk' and wrong SG so it is probably a diopside/tremolite mix. The middle one is the sodalite. The one of the right is dino bone from Utah

Those are cool.  I really like the sodalite one.  I'm going to have to look up a snood.  I'm not seeing a dino bone, though.   :dontknow:

Great way to make a clean attachment.  The Dino Bar is killer.
