Is it just my end or has this place turned into a turtle riding a snail? I do not have the problem anywhere else on the net but here sometimes I have to wait so long for things to come up I click the stop and try again or just move on.
Whats up phish?

I'm having no problems.
So I suspect a couple things on your end as I've had something similar happen before:
1) Weather can affect net connectivity and speed. I used to swear the colder it was back east the slower forums would load.
2) Bad corrupted cookies (packets of information) can cause slow downs, best way to handle this is to clean out your browser cache and reboot your computer.
3) You picked up a piece of malware someplace and it's slowing down your speed. Run antiviral/anti-malware.
Try those.
If none of that works then we'll bother Randy. Right now he is helping his wife recover from surgery.
I doubt it's the forum as I'm having no problem at all. However one time I had some slow loading on a forum several years ago and it turned out my computer was slowly dying. I had battery acid from the batteries on the Motherboard leaking all over the motherboard causing my computer all sorts of fits.

All's well on my end, too. Try cleaning out your cache like Amanda suggested. Make sure all your temp files are deleted, too. That usually will help. :icon_scratch:

Everything works for me too, well at least as well as anything does on my slow connection.

i sometimes have to restart my router and it goes fast again.
i run ccleaner.exe also as a daily ritual or my web goes slow also.
-
Mine is fast. Hope it speeds up soon for you.

Fast here also. Perhaps it is so cold in Wyoming that the electrons are getting sluggish.
-
LOLOL Frank sometimes in the mornings my electrons are slow too:)

Maybe it is my age. I dumped all the history, cookies etc, ran anti virus twice and I still have to sit and wait but only here. I am going to fire up the notebook and see how it compares.

restart your modem and router too if you have one.
Also click start, control panel, network connection and then select repair.
I run the forum optimizer and the other programs here daily and this place is super fast compared to alot of other websites i frequently visit.
