Okay A long time ago I had found a website that had hundreds and hundreds of famous Lapidary artist and jewelers. I was organized by last name. The clark husband wife intarsia team, Monongye, Olive Colhour and countless others. When you clicked on a name it brought up a pictoral gallery of their works. It was an awesome site and I have lost the link.
I was looking for a husband and wife team that used to display at the Culver City gem club and they did Jewelry boxes. He was the silver worker and she did the lapidary. I thought their name was Rosen but I have had no luck with searches and then of course trying to find my old link didn't help. One box was Rutilated Quartz with etched Silver continuing the rutile lines and Black Jade or Basenite. Another was A large Ammonite on a pedestal off the lid on a Turritella Agate. The boxes were exquisite.
