Title: Fossil sphere pair
Post by: Ryaly2dogs on February 11, 2021, 11:05:34 AM
A few more fossil spheres I completed from cubed material recently swapped with Jay (Sandsave).  Crinoid limestone on left with some nice details and colors (4.0" dia), and white on black coral in limestone on right, from Providence, Utah (3.4" dia).  Great to add more of these fossil spheres (my favorite material) to the shelf!

Crinoids like that are always fun to look at. I don't remember seeing a sphere before. Even better!

Very nice.  Love fossil corals.  Those white corals in black limestone, the mountains on the west side of the valley here (Las Vegas) is riddled with that stuff.
