First up is Cathedral Agate from Mexico. This I made from a chunk of rough I had lying around for a little too long. I really like the purplish botroidal vugs on the one side.
Second is a Brecciated Rhyolite referred to as DeeDeeite in Central Coast, it is also included with Marcasite. This was found in Nipomo, and the chalcedony does fluoresce green under UV light. I would attach a vido of the fluorescing, but you all know what happens to large files. :)
Stay thirsty my friends.

Always a pleasure, beautiful.

Looks like the Marcasite has already started to alter, don't know if there is a way to stop it once started. Did you seal it? Great Spheres. I picked up a 16lb piece of Marcasite Agate 10ft from the road on Tefft. I love collecting in Nipomo.

Have not sealed it yet. What would you recommend, maybe spot sealing with Opticon?
