Title: More Agate Lantern Fun - Foiling & Soldering

Not sure where else to put this! Maybe an 'other' category under slabbing or sculpture?

Anyway, I'm learning foiling and soldering techniques to go along with my pursuit of putting candles behind rocks.
This is Attempt #3, all with agate I found and slabbed from here in Antelope/Ashwood area. I will try to get better pictures of candle light through the slabs, as it's a pretty good demonstration of how variable each kind of agate is! Amygdules, thunder egg cores and seam agate.

Great looking, nice work.  I have wanted to learn the basics of stained glass to use on stone slabs myself.

It would be interesting to see iris agate slabs in a lamp, although I suspect that candle light wouldn't work in that case - an LED or a halogen incandescent would be a better bet.
