This weekend we had a great show. Nothing special in show it self rather in just having one.We were being thanked all the time. Just being able to get together as rockhounds was special. In our province we were the first since the lockdowns started. We had a couple taigates but they are outside. The restrictions may lift soon, but for us there were vaccine passports,( BC is 90%), masks and 50% capacity. There were three times I had to do the 1-2-3 thing. They were lined up to get in. It was pretty special. This pays our rent . We made enough that we may be able to afford diamond wheels and silversmithing. We need a regulator rebuild and a new hose.

We meet at the Matsqui Community Hall every forth Tuesday at 7:00. It's at 33676 St. Olaf Ave. The hall is in the Matsqui Village. We have a small workshop in the basement of the hall. The club is on facebook.com/AbbotfordRockAndGemClub .
Did you go to the big BC Lapidary Society show in Chilliwack Heritage Park (red barn) beside the freeway a couple of weeks back ? Rendezvous is coming up on Vancouver Island.
My wife is the real rockhound, I just get to fix machinery .Chuckle. I love wandering around out in the bush, though.
