My wife and I attended a wedding in Yakima, WA last month, and we drove the tortured path there and back. On our way back, she endured a 90 minute stop, south of Royal City and here is what we collected in about 90 minutes;
Also, stopped in at farm stand to buy fruit and produce, and found this hidden gem! a local farmer dug up a mammoth skellie, their farm equipment scrapped the skull and exposed it, and they had their work on display! Very interesting, indeed! Frenchman Hills Mammoth, about 40 minutes south of Moses Lake.
My bucket list is to find several mammoth teeth, I'd love to try and expose the beauty of carving a fossilized/opalized bone.

Hey there, I was just in Yakima on Saturday! I'm a Spokane resident myself. Those are some really neat finds. Unfortunately I couldn't persuade the other members of the car to stop for any hounding. What are going to do with those finds?
