Looks like a bridge would be nice to have somewhere around where that photo was taken... .

During fall-winter floods the water can be over 20 feet deep there. Bridges are very temporary. The two miles of gorge below this spot has 50 waterfalls which can only be run at extremely high water making for world class kayaking.
