Its too bad i havent located a dig area on blewett pass with petrified palm wood. there is a BUNCH of palm leaf fossils up there, but i havent seen any petrified palm wood.

It is in Oregon , California and Louisiana but have never heard of it from Washington other than leaf fossils.

if there are leaf fossils, there HAS to be wood fossils.
Leaf fossils all over above deer creek way out past Oso, and also on blewett pass. the wood would or should be near depending on how far the Lahar (tidal wave) of volcanic ash mud traveled
