56 mm long x 30 mm wide, 10 mm hole. The white is grossular garnet and the rest of it is diopside. The areas inside the black lines that are turning blue are chatoyant diopside.

I Really like that piece. Very striking! I made a sphere out of Roddingite not too long ago, acquired via E-Bay from a store called Poobah's Jade; any relation here?

Gary. OK guy who gets some stuff right and some stuff wrong. Hs pictures have gotten to be very bad.
