I'm getting old and I am dispersing my collection of rocks, fossils and lapidary projects I've accumulated over the past 40-50 years. One of my favorites are the relatively small Moctezuma agate nodules. You are always pleased with what you find when you cut one. This Christmas I made shadow box picture frames and filled them with polished Moctezuma agate nodule halves for my five granddaughters. The project turned out as well as I expected, albeit, my woodworking could use improvement. jkfoam

It turned out wonderfully, great work and obviously a lot of love in that collection and passing it along!
