i came across this which i first though was an opal after weighing it s.g. 2.74. it doesnt fracture cochoidal yet splintery and as you can see in photo im not sure what else . any ideas? its all translucent colors ranging from yellow to orange to green ,blood red. i can make more fotos if required. also its over 7 hardness.
