Title: Gift for a Friend

My newest creation.
Made this for a friend who needs a bit of a pick-me-up.
Chinese dyed/stabilized turquoise, dyed red marble, Czech Firepolished Glass, Chinese Crystal, Japanese Seed beads, hematite, and Czech seed beads.

I like what you did with the red in the bezel- very clever design there my friend.

Thanks Gina!  I did that to balance out the red of the small cab with the other side of the design.  Typically using a bold color like that in one area of a design you want to also use it someplace on the opposite side for color balance and visual balance so the viewer's eye is drawn across the piece from one side to another and not just focused on one spot.

I'm on their catalog cover?  When did that happen?
I know a piece of mine was in some ads, but their catalog cover??!?!?!?!?!?  When??
