My Aunt Helene's Mississippi Peanut Butter Brickle Stone Pendant!
« on: September 28, 2014, 08:02:32 PM »

I finally got Lithicbeads to make me a pendant from wonderful Aunt Helene's material.  I made a simple black silk kumihimo braid that would not compete with the wonderful pattern in the stone.  For this 8-strand braid, 4 of the warp threads are thicker than the other 4, creating some texture to complement the stone as well as bring out the highlights in the silk.
The clasp (not shown) is another small bead from lithicbeads.

Looks good enough to eat if I wasn't allergic to peanuts.
