No Star in this material. It would be cool to do a sphere with a star in it. I will have to check into it and see if I can afford a piece big enough to sphere.

Another beauty!

This is my favorite area of the forum. Seeing all the spheres posted here always brings a smile.

Are there any threads where you (Jhon P) and Sandsave show your shops and/or discuss your sphere making process? I would love to see photos of where all this sphere magic happens and read more about getting from a chunk of rough to a finished sphere.

The more pictures the better! Trust me, we don't get tired of seeing your creations and I'm sure others here would enjoy more photos and details as well.

Nice work Jhon, your going to think I'm spying on you I have a rose quartz preformed waiting for a Stripey Jhon from McDermit to finish.
Captbob I used to post progress pics. I'll start again with a sphere of sedentary mussels from Lake Bonneville that used to cover Utah , E. Nevada and S. Idaho.
Here's a couple pics of the first cut. (Jhon I'll send a cube I think it's going to look real cool)
