Certain stones take on popularity at certain times, which is what I have observed at Quartzite and Tuscon last year.  Corprolite2018.  Larimar 2017.  Any guesses as to what will be popular in 2019?  By popularity I mean the stone is ubiquitous at many, many booths and displays at these two shows.  I guess the vendors feel that "it sells."  Go for it.
