I love cutting top grade  flawless translucent Siberian jade but this jade seems more real  like it has history with all the wild things in it.

I love it when stones have something going on inside them, like some kind of swirled storm raging within.   :D

Really pretty!   Did you drill that yourself?   I've only drilled a couple of beads, and they took forever!!!!

I have acquired a bit of that stone and love the look of it. Problem is when I drill it for rings it comes apart no matter how gentle I drill it. I have one more solid piece that I am going to try but I do not have high hopes.

Very nice bead Frank; do you have a machine now to make those so symmetrical LOL
It all depends on the particular piece Jim, That 27 lb block I have is probably very solid on the other end and through the middle; opposite where I took the 2 lb. piece that does have feathers off. It also has the most chrome and imperial green in the solid portion so there may be some correlation. I find even the feathery material will stand up in smaller pieces; I've cut 1/4" 1/4" x 3 " pieces from it and they "tink" like pieces of steel. If they don't I drop them on the cement and the weak spot shows up pretty fast....

I never tire of looking at your Tube Beads, especially the big fat ones.   I like the solid umph they have.
