The Prescott Gem and Mineral Show is this weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) at the Prescott Valley Event Center.  If you're in the area, stop on by and say hi to Vince and me (Hummingbird Stones).  There will be around 56 vendors, geode cutting, kid's stuff and an hourly raffle.

Finally getting to relax now after the show. Had 850+ people Friday, 2400+ Saturday, but today (Sunday) slowed down again so we probably had close to 4,500 people (paid) through the doors. Was a good show. Here's a pic of our little corner of the world for the past three days.

Looks like a wonderful setup!

Thanks. Here are a few of the things we had out - along with a bunch of opal.

The "display only" specimens (that we decorate our house with) seemed to draw some folks to the booth. Some of them were not happy the specimens were not for sale. We told some of them those rocks are not for sale - but almost everything has a price. Funny, but no one made offers on them... .

We had asked a couple of forum members if they would be interested in doing our club's show. The show floor accomodates a full-size hockey rink, and we added some vendors in the concourse this year.

Here's a pic from just after the open on Friday morning showing about one-fourth of the show floor. Diamond Pacific is all the way down at the end of the aisle shown here.
