I'm pretty sure this has been asked before but I don't see it. My 220grit diamond wheel is done and so is my 1200 Nova wheel. It's for a Pixie. Shipping to Canada sucks 2 new wheels are going to cost me an arm and a leg. Or does anyone know where I can get a really good deal? Any info at all thanks. And intereted to hear from those who have tried it.  Thx!!

Hi and welcome.

To me this is an ongoing project that I have to start working on again. This was talked about a lot on the old forum. I just looked it up and i Hope this link works.

Hi
Yes the link works and wow it is going on 2 years and I have not tried to do another wheel :embarrassed: I guess I better get it done. If you go to the last page you will see that Phill sent me a pm. I do believe that it gave detailed instructions. I do have the cloth that he recomended  and the diamond grit the only thing I dont have is the epoxy. If I remember correct it was the hughs 220 0r the clear. He said both would work.

Ok I will get the epoxy ordered an do this and give details. Maybe we will get lucky and Phil will chime in.

This is what my clubhouse has used on hundreds of their wheels; I've made two sets and they work just fine. My recipe is slightly different as it calls for the addition of fumed silica, available through Woodcraft, which thickens the mixture so it doesn't sag on the belt as bad. I recently found small amounts of the Hysol epoxy on Amazon, so it's no longer necessary to buy the expensive large quantities.
