My new hounding bag
« on: March 22, 2015, 06:55:14 PM »

When hounding most of my back problem comes from getting my hand close to the ground but some of it comes from carrying with a shoulder strap. I am going to try carrying with all the weight on my hips centered over my butt or lack there of. This tool bag has two large pockets that will carry close to the equivalent of a MFRB which I am quite sure will be enough. It will be used in areas where I either need to cover a lot of ground or steep areas where a cart can not go. I have my eye on a two wheel lawn cart that I am going to buy unless the pouch thingie works so good I do not need it.

Now I won't have to put my hammer carrier on my regular belt which will save me twenty seconds both coming and going.

Hey, thats a good idea! I never thought of using a tool bag for rockhounding.  I've got a good set of framing bags here already.  Pull out the tools, slide my rock hammer in place of the framing hammer, and be good to go!

I will try this when I get better at defying gravity. Thanks.

Actually I will try this immediately as I can use this to get things around the property while on the crutches by shifting the carrier to the rear.
