Here's some of the red jasp/agate we found plus the cab and pendant I made from it.

Some more cabs I cut over the weekend from this rough.  I'm also working on some cabs for a bracelet from some of the more brightly colored pieces.

I haven't cut the 2 pieces I brought home yet but took some pics after washing them off.  These were the 2 pieces in the vein below the ones you took home so I know you should have some good material.  I am interested to see the ribbon jasper cut too.

It was great making it out to show you some local spots.  So glad the city cancelled my meeting at the last second so I could help you both out and thanks again for dinner, I'll have to remember that restaurant next time I am out that way.

I forgot to mention I love the setting you made for the Red Cady Moss cab, simply but elegant.  I am still looking for the Golden lace plume that I wanted to take you to.  I found a couple small pieces that I am attaching pics along with the moss agate that is in the canyon to the West of where we collected.

The ribbon in the 3rd pic is not very amazing since it is lacking the Yellows and Reds.

Last one since you mentioned on the trip how much you like Victoria Stone, something to make you drool.  The 2 Green Boules are 2 different boules and hard to tell from the pics but the victoria2 boule is a darker Green.  The Black and White Boules don't photograph well so left those out.

<Drool> You guys are killing me. That So-Cal stuff is divine. Planning my trip in January to coincide with Quartzsite. Glad fun was had by all. That's what makes this site family.

Steve, that blue one is phenomenal!

Our ribbon jasper looks like yours and certainly has a lot of iron in it as evidenced by the color of my slab saw oil!

I love rockhounding in the Cady's  it's to bad that it is do far away. It's seams like there is agate and jasper on the whole mountian.
It looks like you got some prime rock
