ID help please...
« on: June 09, 2016, 09:42:43 AM »

I found a small slab in a box of rock I purchased... cut this out of it.
Maybe Picasso Marble/jasper?
Any help appreciated.

I wouldn't have any guess on the origin of your stone, but it reminds me a lot of one I picked up a couple months ago while wandering across the desert in the Wileys Well area.  I got some nice slabs out of it and it took a great finish with ease.
