You need a grease gun with a tip on it designed to pump grease into that fitting on your saw.  Something like this...

Hi and welcome to the group.

It so happens I have a 20 inch Hillquist saw that I just completed tuning up.  I would be happy to help you.  My saw has a fiberglass tank and hood and has sealed bearings so no zero fitting.  Otherwise it looks the same as yours.  You will want to check the play in the arbor bearings before doing much with the saw.  Some points about this fine saw.

The tension on the drive belt is adjusted down at the motor mount which is a swing plate.  The feed mechanism is a variable speed drive that uses a sprag type clutch.  You can adjust it using the screw/spring mechanism on the arm assembly.  The more the spring is extended the slower the speed of the drive because the arm does not travel as far when the cam on the arbor drive pulley moves the lever.  You definitely want to grease the angle gears and put some kind of a shield over them.  You should also review the care and feeding of slab saws at the beginning of this section if you haven't done so already.  A great resource.  I would recommend making a cover for it with a plexiglass viewing port.   If you need any more help let me know.

Regards
Mike
