Jumbo Fire Agates
« on: November 18, 2014, 05:09:01 AM »

Hi there, hardly got anything to post anymore.

Have yet again fallen into Fire Agate trap. But at least this time round it looks like to pay off spending nearly 200 hours on the first piece alone. All of them are WIP

Negrita

Part of another Mexican (in picture about two square inches)

And just started yesterday (the biggest yet) Negrita again

That just about reaches the limit as to what makes sense to work for me when it comes to size. :) :)

Thanks for looking, Kurt

Those are huge; :headbang: I can't wait to see what they look like polished; if you don't cut them just to cut down on the work load per piece LOL

Wow.  I see some gorgeous fire going on in those!  The Mexican piece almost reminds me in it's shape and nodules of an image from a fresco of a god weilding a hammer or some other instrument of weaponry.  I could so see that carved to look like that with the clouds billowing around the image of the god.
