I believe that Mark Schneider might be the goldsmith and Glenn Lehrer is the master carver.  Glenn is an amazing carver and you should be able to find quite a bit about him on the web.  I took a carving class several years ago at his studio in California.  I will always look back on that experience as a wonderful time and a great investment.  And one of the best vacations I've ever been on!
