3) As long as the basic shape is considered a cab it's golden.  You can enter intarsias and carved top cabs such as cameos etc.  After all, this is the OUTRAGEOUS cab contest!  We love free form cabs!  Pull out the stops and give us the best you have!
4) One entry per person please!
5) Please show photos of your slabs and preforms if you can so we can see your thought process and how you did things.
6) No finished jewelry pieces.  Just the cab.
7) Cab sets are OK.

Sandsaves looks like a duck with a seal looking over its shoulder in the bottom right part of the cab. Great work on both of the cabs i like the colors in the first cab and the 3-D effect.

That is the trippiest moss agate I have ever seen.  Looks more like Montana!!!  With eyeballs!!!  Polka dot montana moss agate.  :D

I'm pretty sure that this was brought up before, but I can't remember if it was resolved or not. If my stone isn't acceptable in this contest, then please disregard. My entry is a double sided cab with a hole drilled through it. Ok...so it's a bead. Anyhoo...back at the end of June, I went with my club to McDermitt for a rocking good time. A side trip we took was to the Amethyst Mine where I may of went over board collecting rocks. Couldn't help it...it is after all, my favorite stone! Welp, here it is. All shades of purple, streamers, and plumes. One BIG ol stone to weigh my neck down
