Saving a pair of Wubbers Pliers
« on: August 20, 2014, 10:49:04 AM »

I love my Wubbers.   :love7:
However I have a small problem.
I have a pair of fine tipped pliers.  Only used them for finer gauges of wire.  I've been trying to figure out HOW the tips started bending apart, and how to fix them.
The bent tips are not really a huge issue as the pliers are still usable.  I have a huge set of Wubbers pliers that my Parents got me for Christmas a few years ago and they are the best things for using with wire.

I tried to take a picture of the tips but my phone camera was not cooperating to nicely.  The first pic looks to be better than the second.

Mine bent from clamping onto wire.  I bent them back sort of the same way- I put the closed plier tips into another set of pliers and squished on them until they were flush again.

I'll have to give that a whirl Gina.  Thanks.
