Coffee's has been out of business for many years. I believe the design for your saw was taken over by Lapcraft. You may be able to contact them for the owners instructions. Check this link to see if it looks like your saw. https://www.riogrande.com/Product/Lil-Trimmer-Saw/203110

You're lucky that you have a small saw that blades are still available for. I have a variable speed saw that takes 3" blades. Those are all but impossible to find.

I've owned the Lapcraft model for years.  I love it.  It's built like an Abrams tank and I've never had a problem with it.  It's especially great because there's no corrosion using water-based coolant thanks to the cast aluminum base.  Coolant change and clean-up are easy-peasy.  It's perfect for trimming expensive materials like opal and faceting rough and rugged enough to handle minor agate and jasper jobs when necessary.  I bought mine 2nd hand and it didn't come with a manual, sorry.

Bassface, just a word of caution. Replace that lamp cord with a 3 wire power cord. Since the saw is all metal construction, the ground whire can be attached at any mounting screw.

I moved this thread here to the proper area of the forum for you!
Nice piece of old equipment.  You'll have to show us pictures of what it looks like after you get it up and running again!  :icon_sunny:

Thanks for the advice on that!

I have the tiny trim saw manufactured by Johnson Bros.  It's exactly the same as yours, except the motor is newer.  Mine is about 13 or 14 years old now.  I love it.

These really aren't much more than a sewing machine motor. 2 or 3 drops of sewing machine oil or 3 in 1 oil a couple times per year should do it. You don't want to drown the motor in oil. If the saw is going to see a lot of use, oil it 3 or 4 times per year.
