The biggest downer I have now is how the doctors and workman's comp are treating my son. I will post his story as soon as his girlfriend gets it written up. They are shafting him at every turn and it is something new every week. I just shake my head in wonder at every new thing that pops up. Time to get a really good lawyer because everyone else that tries to help him out gets shut down by someone else or some new rule. Super frustrating to say the least.

YES!  My Father had to do exactly this.  He got a lawyer because at every turn he was either being denied his Worker's compensation payments or he was being given undue hell.  In this case a Worker's Compensation lawyer is your best friend.  Do some research, look around and find one that is reputable.  It will be one of the best things your son could do.  Most states have laws where you don't pay the lawyer till you get a settlement.  Even then the amount they get paid is dictated by law typically and it's usually low.  My Father's case has been managed by the lawyer now for the past 14 years.  My Father is also on Permanent disability due to the injury.  GET A LAWYER!

Frank, I'm glad the gabbopentin works for, it sure helps me with my nerve pain but I think that some of it will need surgical intervention of some kind.
My wife and I have put an offer in on a house near Prescott and Chino Valley, AZ but it is in the county. She liked it better than the houses out in the flat areas but it has a lot of scrub oak, juniper and pine on it so I'm somewhat fearful of fire, so she gets what she wants but it is a nice house, a few steps inside, I think that I can manage them OK. It has a nice kitchen so that is good and an area where I can do my metal work. It needs some work, new decks as the existing ones have wood rot, my foot went through one, scary moment there. It sits on top of a decomposing rock pile, I guess that's normal for the area as that's all that's there, hardly any soil on top of the ground.
