Not one case of the zika virus being spread by foreign nationals has been recorded... unless you count mosquitoes as "illegal." Mosquitoes are unaware of human made borders and cross them readily. Mosquitoes, and other destructive pests, also hitch rides on fruit imported to the US.

Not true Ranger Dave, unless you don't believe the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

"Five cases of the Zika virus have been identified in the Empire State alone. The CDC says a total of 31 Americans in 11 states and Washington, D.C., have been identified as carriers who brought the miserable disease in from abroad."

Note that it says; "The CDC says a total of 31 Americans..." and not 31 undocumented aliens brought the zika virus into the US.

You are correct -- I misread the paragraph.  But it requires a suspension of disbelief beyond my capacity to think that American visitors to Zika-infested countries can bring the virus back, and people from those countries who come here can't.

There are more Americans that visit other countries infected with zika than people in those countries come here. I did not say that someone visiting here from another country could not bring in the virus, just that there is no evidence they have. No belief or disbelief involved, just facts.
