I think the cord is quite practical, but what are you doing in the clasp end of things.  I've never been satisfied with the cords I've made for my pendants.

Wow. Nice stones. Pendants are bound to look good starting with material like that - and they do!

I recognize all but the brown and white one. Do you have the name and source of that rough?

As for the chords, I did not know what to use for a clasp, so I just tied a knot.
 The red and white stone could be "flame Agate" not sure.

   Third picture with brown on white looks like Polka Dot Agate from Oregon. Yep, I know there is not a polka Dot but I have seen a lot of pretty material from that claim with no dots.
