Wow that IS strong material if you can expand it with that crack and STILL not break it!!!!!

I'm still not so sure I would be that skilled (and I am talking just with handling the crack alone, definitely not with making that whole thing)... They are pretty easy once you get the holes cut; just a matter of grinding and polishing then using a burr in the drill press with a water drip and tapering the edge of the inside hole LOLOLOL It is strong enough to take it ; there is a lot of flex in the fibrous type of grain in the stone.  It only took you an hour and a half to make that?  Holy shlamoly. I know, I'm pretty slow; I just do it for a hobby
