That is very unusual - enough to send me back to look for more.  Some of those convexities appear to be botryoidal. Inside or outside they add interest and depth.

Beautiful stones.  Kind of reminds me of some Condor Agate I worked on last year.  Agate is an amazing stone in its variety!
