Green rock
« on: January 06, 2019, 02:19:25 PM »

6 1/2”
A green rock (maybe skarn) that I stole from my sister. She was going to put it in her fairy garden.
I am going to return it to her next week. I don’t think she will put it outside now

I HOPE she keeps it inside - wouldn't want any water or mineral spots to spoil that shine

Very nice Jhon, like the color!   So talking of the sphere and outside. If you were to put a nice shiny spree on a pedastel outside what would happen???   Would it get dull and blah?

Cool. Very nice sphere and another new word. I would never have known it wasn't just a green rock... .

Hey Bill,  I think it depends on the rock and the climate. I would think this one would be ok. The climate
In parumph Nevada in pretty dry and not a lot of rain. Clean the dirt off once in a while it will stay shinny. Now marble or calcite will probably dull in a year or two

Hey thanks Jhon. I think I would like to put one on the railing of the deck as a gazing sphere!
