New to this group.. I enjoy hiking around the desert looking for interesting rocks and fossils. Would like to post pictures of some of my finds-- for I'd-- and to share. Here's one I found recently.. What kind of rock is it ? It's probably a 5 pounder.. Tony AZ.

Welcome , Very nice jasper. It is obviously low silica in spots but should have nice solid areas.
