Not sure which one I would pick...always been my problem..

Seems to me you should put yourself into lockdown more often!

Great stuff’

Nice cabs irockhound.  Can you post ID's on them?  I can guess most but the purplish-blue long oval and the last one have me puzzled.

I haven't cut a cab since November - illness, cold shop and a wife who needs tending due to a broken ankle.  It warmed up nicely today and I'm getting the urge.  I'll try to cut an entry for the contest.

Compliments on your idea for getting more cab contest entries.  I'm sure we'll see more participation as a result.

Dang, Steve, those are all gorgeous!  Love the Cacoxenite in Quartz and that beautiful agate with the drusy center the most.    :occasion14:

Did you find the wood yourself, or buy it somewhere. Interesting and different.

I have had a more discerning look and I still can’t pick which one I like best.. They are all finished beautifully.

I am drawn to the one with druzy in the middle..I think because of the cut and the way it features the druzy in the middle..the pattern almost draws your eye to the middle...I like the thought behind that!

The wood was in this collection so I have no idea where it came from.  He had excellent taste though.  I think the largest piece I have of it is maybe a couple inches square but there are quite a few so plenti of material for jewelry pieces.  The wood cut like a dream and didn't have any chipping.  The curved edge where the lighter color did have the smallest hint of cutting faster but just making sure you do your refined roughing on the 220 and no problem at all.

I will have to take a pic of all the Holley Blue that he had in the totes.  One piece looked like it was coated with the muck from the bottom of the grinder I washed it with a brush yesterday and Wow, a very healthy chunk and deep purple jelly.
