White Tail
« on: September 28, 2020, 10:42:19 AM »

So, I have been able to identify this material I found near Payson as Magensite but still looking to do a chemical analyst when I find a company here in Arizona. I am calling it White tail and there are several grades of it for sure. And it does have more silica in it putting it around 6+ on the hardness. Refraction is high around 1.71 and though the black areas do undercut the white areas polish out really well.

Here are a couple cabs of it.
