Landscape Jasper Sphere
« on: June 18, 2021, 09:31:33 AM »

Finished up this nice landscape jasper sphere from a chunk in my rockpile.  While working with it, it was much harder, possessing a much finer grain and taking better polish than I had anticipated, being ready for only a matte finish.  Uncertain as to source of this material, thinking it is possibly Biggs jasper from web photo comparison?  Confirmation or any other ideas from some of the experts?  Finished up just shy of 4.5" diameter.

This board is getting sleepy, where are the other sphere makers?
