HP30 Drive repair
« on: October 24, 2026, 11:44:52 AM »

I have a HP30 slab saw from Barranca, purchased a few years back. The electric-driven feed screw has stopped working, and I'm having trouble figuring out how to get it working again.

The feed screw itself can be moved when I loosen the allen keys holding the arbor around the drive feed, in the little black box in the front of the saw.
And, I get 12V when I test the electrical feed coming into the electric motor driving the feed screw.

So, I'm guessing that the small electric motor has died. Any guides on how to replace these little motors? I have gotten no response from Barranca when I've emailed their help desk email address.
