Rock found in So. St Paul, Minnesota/ help id

 This rock was found in a gravel pit: it is very solid and heavy, semi smooth, not magnetic. It was found in South St. Paul Minnesota.

It looks like a piece of water worn pegmatite. Those granites are being used to make some very nice celedon glazes by a potter from that area.
