Found this today in proximity to the source of a nice black stone (that seems to be a metamorphic, found in proximity to two layers of tuff and what appears to be a mud/ash deposit with iron nodule geologyisconfusingincentraloregon better pictures when I get back there with camera.) I've never seen anything like it here before but some other pieces had a seam-agate-ish appearance, like a lace that forgot a component somewhere and is just the structure, without the quartz.
Editing to add: I learned a new word tonight. 'spherulitic calcite.'

Reminds me of birds eye rhyolite kinda. Cool looking stuff!
