I found this down in southern Indiana while on a geode hunt.
Didn't notice this till I was cleaning it up in the garage, but it almost looks like gold has covered the crystals!

Welcome to the forum. I have lived in Southern IN for about 25 years and have never seen/heard of anything like that.I live near Evansiville.

Well my wife and I found this piece down around lake monroe, I guess next time I need to remember my gold pans.
Thanks for the link Jakesrocks, I will check that out. I have always heard about there being gold in Indiana but haven't gotten around to finding a good place to go to pan for it.
