More information would help.  Location, hardness?  Just as a wag I'd say quartzite.

If it scratches easily, it could be a mica such as sericite. Could also be a gneiss, or quartz included with chlorite or something else. You need to at least approximate the hardness (http://geology.com/minerals/mohs-hardness-scale.shtml) of the material. You might then also want to check mindat.org to see if they have anything around the specific area where you found it (search on Western Australia, then zoom in on the map to your location).

7 MOH hardness, andcthe way He face is broken. Green Quartz? Dose it have sparkles in it? Adventurine maybe.

Looks like Fuchsite mica to me, when it is present in quartz it is call adventurine
