I've decided my carving days are pretty much over and I don't want my best material to wind up going for pennies at an estate auction. I would much rather it go to someone who will appreciate it. I have therefor offered a large part of my favorite material for sale on Ebay. It isn't going real cheap but most people will never see material of this quality outside of a museum. You can find one of the listings here
www.ebay.com/itm/Massive-AAA-Lapis-Lazuli-rough-/232317754810
and then "see other items" for the rest. Over the next few months I'll be pulling things off the the display shelves and letting go of as much as I can bear to part with.

Sorry to hear that. I'm sure that whoever is lucky enough to get your material will really appreciate it. I am hoping that someday that my kids want my stone that i have prized and stored away. I've told my wife not to sell it and to just give it to them and let them divy it up. Hopefully they will fall in love with it like i did and see the beauty in it that i do. I will keep my eyes open and maybe i can snag some of you stone after i pay my bills off.
